Family owned and operated by two sisters, a wonderful older brother & a Master Thrifter. Junkie Monkeys began in Late 2018 in Grand Blanc, Michigan by our founders Mike & Nikki. What started as a thrift shop turned into something much more. Junkie Monkeys found a way to purchase truckloads of new, overstock, shelf pulls or gently returned items, from big box retailers such as Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe’s, Target and more. With room for storage, a storefront and Ebay account to sell from, the first truckload was purchased. Well, it was a hit to say the least. The first truckload came a couple months before Christmas and it was full of toys for all the good boys and girls. Having the best sale month of their history, Mike and Nikki quickly realized they were on to something. The next couple of years were a breeze and Master Thrifter Mike now spent the bulk of his attention researching truckloads of returns instead of spending time at garage sales or bidding on storage units. Junkie Monkeys saw a new business model. Nikki & Mike wanted to be closer to family, which are all here in Oklahoma. The wonderful Older Brother and sister had already spent thousands of dollars on purchases from these truckloads and showed quite the interest in the business model. After months of planning Nikki & Mike moved the family and Junkie Monkeys Oklahoma was born!!
